AVAILABLE FEATURES

Ball Spring: This feature incorporates a small ball bearing and spring mechanism that applies outward pressure, holding the T-nut in position within the T-slot prior to tightening. This prevents the nut from moving or rattling during transportation or assembly, especially in vertical applications.

Flexible Handle: (or Spring Tab): Similar to the Ball Spring, a flexible handle or leaf spring is used to keep the T-nut firmly seated in the channel, preventing it from rotating or sliding out of position before the bolt is fully torqued.

Set Screw: T-nuts with a set screw offer a superior locking mechanism. The set screw is tightened against the inner wall of the extrusion, providing a secure, vibration-resistant lock that prevents the T-nut from shifting even under dynamic loads.

Slide-In: These heavy-duty mounting inserts are reliable; however, they must be installed at the profile's terminus prior to framing. A drawback is that gravity causes them to descend vertical rails.

Roll-In: Ideal for situations where the ends of an aluminum profile are inaccessible, allowing for easy insertion at any point along the T-slot. Their design, which features a rounded or specially shaped body, enables them to be inserted into the slot and then rotated 90 degrees to secure their position. For easier assembly, these T-nuts are frequently designed with a ball-spring mechanism to keep them held in place.

Drop-In: Can be inserted into the T-slot at any point, eliminating the need to slide them in from the end. They are perfect for post-assembly changes or vertical uses where gravity would cause other T-nuts to fall. They often use a leaf spring, ball spring, or set screw to hold their position in the channel.

We stock T-nuts with a wide range of thread sizes to ensure compatibility with both Imperial (UNC) and Metric fasteners, catering to various load requirements and industry standards:
